Following a careful tendering process, SecureFeed has decided to continue its collaboration with Agrolab Dr. Verwey and to enter into a new collaboration with TLR International Laboratories for the analysis of samples in the SecureFeed Animal Feed Monitoring Plan (SMD).
Laboratories play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of animal feed products with analysis methods in the areas of contaminants, nutritional composition, and microbiology.
The agreements were reached after the parties agreed on suitable terms and conditions for both the laboratories and SecureFeed and its participants.
Monitoring animal feed is one of the most important pillars of SecureFeed. The laboratories will work closely with the secretariat to guarantee the quality of animal feed and ensure that SecureFeed's high standards for animal feed raw materials are met.
